Enclosures are often an important part of generator ownership and operation, especially in industrial applications or harsh environments (hot/cold). Increasingly, building owners and designers are looking for ways to maximize interior space, moving the generator set outdoors is often the solution. During large-scale renovations, upgrading an area of a building to meet the requirements for generators can involve a significant cost. It’s often easier and more cost effective to place the generator outdoors. The right generator enclosure allows this to happen.
Our Value Plus (VP) generator set enclosures include an integrated muffler. Skid and fuel tank options are required when the enclosure is specified. Depending on your requirements, we offer two standard versions, as well as custom-built generator enclosures.
- Value Plus 8-30 kW Enclosure with Level 1 Sound Attenuation – Galvanized weather enclosure with an integrated muffler. Optional skid or fuel tank must be selected with this option. Level 1 sound attenuation reduces sound level by approximately 3-5 dBA.
- Value Plus 8-30 kW Enclosure with Level 2 Sound Attenuation – Galvanized metal weather enclosure with an integrated muffler. Optional skid or fuel tank must be selected with this option. Level 2 sound attenuation reduces sound level by approximately 5 -10 dBA.
Our Value Plus (VP) generators are powered by fuel-efficient Perkins, Hatz or Isuzu diesel engines from 7 to 100 kW.
